German-Language Cinema

This child group of European Cinema collects that broader group's members whose primary country of origin is Germany, West Germany, East Germany, Austria or German-speaking Switzerland, read from the member's own recorded Country fact or its description text, spanning New German Cinema directors such as Wenders and Fassbinder, the Berlin School, East German DEFA-era production, and Austrian and Swiss German-language auteur film.
