The Washington Post

Also Known As The Post · WaPo Wikipedia gives two informal forms, WaPo and WP.
Print and News Organizations

A daily newspaper based in Washington, D.C., founded in 1877 by Stilson Hutchins, whose investigative reporting on the 1972 break-in at the Democratic National Committee's Watergate offices, led chiefly by Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein under editor Barry Sussman, became one of American journalism's defining achievements. Its early coverage received little attention from rival papers including the New York Times, and its own lead reporter has since called the popular myth of two journalists single-handedly bringing down a president totally absurd.
