Steven Ronald Bochco was an American television writer and producer, born in New York City on 16 December 1943 and died on 1 April 2018. He developed a number of television series, mostly crime dramas, including Hill Street Blues, L.A. Law, Doogie Howser, M.D., Cop Rock and NYPD Blue, and his career ran from 1961 to 2016. Within this atlas Steven Bochco is credited as the creator of Hill Street Blues and NYPD Blue.
