Crip Camp: A Disability Revolution is a 2020 American documentary directed by Nicole Newnham and James LeBrecht, with Barack and Michelle Obama serving as executive producers through their Higher Ground Productions company. The film follows Camp Jened, a summer camp in New York for teenagers with disabilities described in the film as loose and free-spirited, and traces how the community formed there fed directly into the American disability rights movement of the following decades. It premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in January 2020, winning the Audience Award before its Netflix release two months later, and went on to earn an Academy Award nomination for Best Documentary Feature.
