Mark Hall (animator)

Directors and Filmmakers

Mark William Hall was a British producer and animator, born on 17 May 1936 and died on 18 November 2011. Together with Brian Cosgrove he co-founded Cosgrove Hall Productions and CHF Entertainment, and the two men created multiple animated series, including Danger Mouse and Count Duckula. He died of cancer in 2011 and left his role in CHF Entertainment to his son Simon. His entry sits beside that of Brian Cosgrove because the two worked as a creative partnership across the studio's output.
