Harold Edward Snoad was a British television producer, writer and director, born in Mill Hill, Middlesex, on 28 August 1935 and died on 2 June 2024. He was best known for the sitcom Keeping Up Appearances, starring Patricia Routledge and Clive Swift, and for directing and producing Ever Decreasing Circles and Don't Wait Up. His career ran from 1957 to 1995 and included work on Dad's Army. Within this atlas Harold Snoad is credited as the director of Dad's Army and Are You Being Served?.
