Buck Henry, born Henry Zuckerman in New York City on 9 December 1930, was an American actor, screenwriter and director who died on 8 January 2020. His career ran from 1946 to 2015, and his contributions to film included his work as a co-writer of Mike Nichols's The Graduate in 1967, for which he received a nomination for the Academy Award for Best Adapted Screenplay.
