Raajneeti, meaning Politics, is a 2010 Indian Hindi-language political thriller written, directed and produced by Prakash Jha, loosely based on the Mahabharata and built around rival political families and parties. Its ensemble cast includes Ajay Devgn, Nana Patekar, Ranbir Kapoor, Katrina Kaif, Arjun Rampal, Manoj Bajpayee and Naseeruddin Shah. Shot extensively in Bhopal, the film was released worldwide amid controversy and received largely positive reviews in India and abroad.
