This group collects the World and International Narrative Cinema subcategory's members whose primary country of origin, read from the member's own recorded Country fact or its description text, is India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal or Afghanistan. It is overwhelmingly Indian in this subcategory's current membership, spanning Hindi-language Bollywood commercial cinema alongside Tamil, Bengali and other regional-language Indian film industries, and because it exceeds this subcategory's hundred-member second-level threshold it reaches its members only through its four child groups below, never directly.
