Singham Returns is a 2014 Indian Hindi-language action film co-written and directed by Rohit Shetty, a sequel to his 2011 film Singham and the second entry in his Cop Universe. Ajay Devgn reprises his role as police officer Bajirao Singham opposite Kareena Kapoor Khan. Released on India's Independence Day on a budget of 70 crore rupees, it broke opening-day records and became one of the highest-grossing Indian films of 2014.
