L.A.C. Battle of Galwan

L.A.C. Battle of Galwan is a 2025 Hindi language Indian war film directed by Nitin Kumar Gupta that dramatizes the June 15, 2020 clash between Indian and Chinese forces at Galwan Valley in Ladakh, in which twenty Indian soldiers were killed in hand to hand combat at an altitude of about 15,000 feet; the film's Colonel Suresh Yadav is based on the real commanding officer, Colonel B. Santosh Babu. It is notable as India's first single shot war film, shot in one continuous eighty three minute take during filming in Kargil in November 2020 in temperatures of about minus 14 degrees Celsius, conditions in which lead actor Rahul Roy suffered a brain stroke during production.
