Fan is a 2016 Indian Hindi-language action thriller directed by Maneesh Sharma and produced by Aditya Chopra's Yash Raj Films. Shah Rukh Khan plays a dual role as film star Aryan Khanna and his obsessive fan and lookalike Gaurav Chandna, whose devotion turns to revenge after his idol punishes him for attacking a rival actor on his behalf. Conceived by Sharma in 2006 and revived in 2013, the film required Khan to undergo 3D scanning to portray both characters and was shot without any songs.
