Candy Crush Saga

Video-Game-Originated Franchises

Candy Crush Saga is a free to play tile matching puzzle video game franchise developed by the British studio King, launched on Facebook on April 12, 2012 as a variation of King earlier browser game Candy Crush. It was later ported to iOS, Android, Windows Phone and Windows 10, extending its reach from a single social network game into a franchise played across essentially every major mobile and desktop platform. Its match three puzzle format and level based structure made it one of the most commercially successful mobile games of its era.
