Media franchises and ongoing series: a body of connected works released under one umbrella name across films, television, books, games or other media, such as Star Wars, James Bond and Harry Potter, tracked as a single entity for its overall scope, ownership history and cultural footprint rather than as a list of its individual installments. Belongs here: a named franchise or series spanning two or more connected works, whatever the media forms it spans. Does not belong here: a single film, broadcast or other individual work, filed under Landmark Works and connected back to its franchise by an edge; the studio, network or production company behind a franchise, filed under Organizations; and a media form or technology the franchise uses, filed under Media Forms or Technologies.
