Landmark Works

The landmark individual works of media history: films, broadcasts and animated features placed by the medium and tradition they belong to, from silent and early cinema through Hollywood studio production, world and international narrative cinema, documentary, animation, television, radio drama, print and comics journalism, to interactive and networked media. A landmark work that later grew into a multi-installment franchise is recorded as related to that franchise, not folded into one entry with it.
