LazyTown is an Icelandic children's television series created by and starring aerobics champion Magnus Scheving, who also plays the character Sportacus. Originally produced in English, it has since been broadcast in dozens of languages around the world. Designed to encourage healthy lifestyles among children, the series was based on Scheving's stage play Afram Latibaer!, which was itself adapted from a book that Scheving wrote in 1995.
