Sid Meier

Sid Meier is a game designer and programmer who co-founded the studio MicroProse in 1982 and is best known as the creator of the Civilization series of turn-based strategy games, first released in 1991, in which players guide a civilization from antiquity toward the modern era through exploration, diplomacy, technology and warfare.
