Satoshi Kon was a Japanese film director, animator, screenwriter and manga artist from Sapporo, Hokkaido, born on 12 October 1963 and died on 24 August 2010. He was a member of the Japanese Animation Creators Association and a graduate of the Graphic Design department of the Musashino Art University. His career ran from 1984 to 2010. Within this atlas Satoshi Kon is credited as the director of Perfect Blue and Paprika (2006 film).
