Rustam Usmanovich Khamdamov, born on 24 May 1944 in Tashkent, is a Soviet and Russian film director and artist. His filmography is small and widely spaced: a student short, In the Mountains of My Heart (1967), made at VGIK; an unfinished feature, Unintentional Pleasures (1974); Anna Karamazoff (1991), which was entered into the 1991 Cannes Film Festival; Parallel Voices (2005); a short film, Diamonds (2010); and The Bottomless Bag (2017). He also worked as costume designer on The Nutcracker in 3D (2010).
