Norman J. Warren

Directors and Filmmakers

Norman John Warren (1942 to 2021) was an English film director, born in Hammersmith, London, who worked as a director, film editor and producer from 1959 until 2021. He is best known for the British horror films of the 1970s, among them Satan's Slave (1976), Prey (1977) and Terror (1978), and for Inseminoid (1981). He also made sex comedies, including Outer Touch (also known as Outer Spaced and Spaced Out, 1979). His body of work is listed under horror, science fiction and sex comedy, a mix that places him in the low-budget end of British commercial filmmaking of the period.
