Jun Li is a Hong Kong filmmaker and critic, born 3 August 1991, who made his feature film debut with Tracey in 2018, a drama exploring a transgender woman's return to Hong Kong. His second film, Drifting, released in 2021, won him the Golden Horse Award for Best Adapted Screenplay at the 58th Golden Horse Awards, the leading Chinese language film prize. In November 2025 he won the Golden Horse Award for Best Director for his third film, Queerpanorama. Li is also a member of the Hong Kong Film Critics Society, giving him a standing voice in Hong Kong film criticism alongside his work as a director. Across three features he has built a body of work centered on marginalized lives within Hong Kong's film industry.
