İbrahim Tatlıses

İbrahim Tatlıses, born İbrahim Tatlı in 1952 in Urfa, Turkey, is a Turkish singer, actor and businessman of Arab-Kurdish descent widely regarded as one of the defining voices of Turkish arabesque and pop-folk music since the 1970s. Known by the nicknames Ibo and Imparator, he built a decades-long recording career spanning more than forty albums, among them Ayaginda Kundura and Selam Olsun, and extended his public profile through acting roles and the long-running television program Ibo Show, which he hosted. Beyond music and television, he pursued business ventures in Turkey, becoming a prominent cultural figure whose career bridges performance, broadcasting and commerce across five decades of continuous activity.
