Chimbu Devan, known as Chimbu Deven, born in Madurai, Tamil Nadu, is an Indian film director, writer, cartoonist and screenwriter known for his work in Tamil cinema, in which he has been active since 2006. His films mostly explore the fantasy and historical genres and also comedy, and he debuted with the historical comedy-drama film Imsai Arasan 23rd Pulikecei in 2006.
