Byron P. Howard, born in Misawa, Aomori, Japan, on 26 December 1968, is an American animator, character designer, story artist, film director, producer and screenwriter who has been active since 1994. He is one of the directors of the Walt Disney Animation Studios films Bolt, Tangled, Zootopia, Encanto and Zootopia 2, and he has received four Academy Award nominations. Within this atlas Byron Howard is credited as the director of Zootopia and Encanto.
