Albert Isaac Boasberg (December 5, 1891 to June 18, 1937) was an American comedy writer in vaudeville, radio and film, and also a film director. He wrote across three of the main entertainment media of his day, which is why the atlas records him among the writers of The Jack Benny Program, the long-running radio comedy whose scripts passed through the hands of many gag writers. His entry exists so that the writers behind a radio landmark can be traced from the work itself.
