Murugadas Arunachalam, known professionally as A. R. Murugadoss, was born on 25 September 1974 in Kallakurichi, Tamil Nadu, India. He is an Indian film director, screenwriter and producer who works mainly in the Tamil film industry, and he has also worked in Telugu and Hindi films. He is best known for action films on social issues, and he won the Filmfare Award for Best Director for the 2014 Tamil action drama Kaththi. He has been active since 1997. Within this atlas A. R.
