PK is a 2014 Indian Hindi-language science-fiction comedy-drama film edited and directed by Rajkumar Hirani, written by Hirani and Abhijat Joshi, and jointly produced by Hirani and Vidhu Vinod Chopra. A religious satire addressing superstition and self-styled godmen, it stars an ensemble cast led by Aamir Khan, Anushka Sharma, Sushant Singh Rajput, Boman Irani, Saurabh Shukla and Sanjay Dutt. Khan plays a humanoid alien sent to Earth on a research mission who, after losing the remote that contacts his spaceship, is told to seek God's help and starts a national movement questioning organized religion.
