A Pigeon Sat on a Branch Reflecting on Existence is a 2014 black comedy drama directed by Roy Andersson, a co-production of Sweden, Norway, France, Germany and Denmark, and the third installment in Andersson's Living trilogy. Built from mostly self contained tableaux rather than a traditional storyline, it loosely follows two traveling novelty salesmen, Jonathan and Sam, as they try to sell joke articles from their run down flophouse. The film won the Golden Lion at the Venice Film Festival.
