Amarcord is a 1973 Italian-French comedy-drama directed by Federico Fellini, a semi-autobiographical portrait of the fictional coastal town of Borgo San Giuliano near Rimini under Fascist Italy in the 1930s. It follows a year in the life of the town, centered on the adolescent Titta, through episodes of school, family, adolescent longing, and encounters with fascism. The film won the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film and is widely regarded as one of the finest works Fellini ever made.
