Lost

Lost is an American television series created by Jeffrey Lieber, J.J. Abrams and Damon Lindelof that aired on ABC from 2004 to 2010, following survivors of a commercial airline crash on a mysterious South Pacific island, told through a structure that combined island storylines with flashback and later flashforward sequences revealing each character's past. The show averaged about 16 million viewers in its first season and won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Drama Series in 2005 and the Golden Globe for Best Television Series Drama in 2006, and is regularly ranked by critics among the greatest television series ever made, even though its series finale drew a strongly polarized reaction from fans and critics. It is widely credited with popularizing serialized, mystery-driven storytelling as a viable format for mainstream network drama.
