Agência Pública

Agência Pública is a nonprofit investigative journalism newsroom in Brazil, founded in 2011 by reporters Marina Amaral, Natália Viana and Tatiana Merlino as the first nonprofit organization in the country created specifically for investigative reporting. It is a women led outlet whose reporting focuses on human rights, gender equality and the abuse of corporate and government power, and it distributes its investigations in Portuguese, English and Spanish under Creative Commons terms for republication by other outlets across Latin America.
