George Eastman

Photographic and Motion Picture Technology Pioneers

American industrialist who put photography in ordinary hands: his Kodak camera of 1888 came loaded with roll film and the promise that you press the button, we do the rest. Eastman's flexible roll film also became the physical stock on which early cinema was shot.
