Re:Zero

Re:Zero, full title Re:Zero, Starting Life in Another World, is a Japanese light novel series written by Tappei Nagatsuki and illustrated by Shinichirou Otsuka. It began serialization as a web novel on the user generated site Shosetsuka ni Naro in 2012, before Media Factory started publishing it as a print light novel series under their MF Bunko J imprint, which has grown to 45 volumes plus six side story volumes and fourteen short story collections. The story follows Subaru Natsuki, a hikikomori who is suddenly transported to another world on his way home from a convenience store. The series is also known, less commonly, as Re: Life in a Different World from Zero.
