Geronimo Stilton

Geronimo Stilton is an Italian children's book series created by Elisabetta Dami, first published in 1997 by Dami Editore and from 2000 onward by Edizioni Piemme. The books present themselves as the fictional memoirs of Geronimo Stilton, a mild mannered mouse and newspaper editor who keeps finding himself swept into adventures across both invented and real world locations. The heavily illustrated volumes are known for printing key words in varied colors and typefaces to help young readers. With spin-off series included, the franchise has grown to more than 300 books and sold over 180 million copies worldwide, and has been adapted into television, theatre, video games, and graphic novels.
