Dark (TV series)

Dark is a German science fiction mystery thriller television series created by Baran bo Odar and Jantje Friese, and it was Netflix's first German-language original series. It premiered on December 1, 2017 and ran for three seasons until June 27, 2020. Set in the fictional town of Winden, the story begins with a child's disappearance and unfolds into a time travel conspiracy spanning several generations, built around the bootstrap paradox and the effects of time on human nature. Led by an ensemble cast headed by Louis Hofmann, the series won wide critical acclaim and was ranked by the BBC among the greatest television series of the twenty-first century.
