Kung Fu Panda

Kung Fu Panda is an American media franchise from DreamWorks Animation that began in 2008 with the release of its first animated feature film. Set in a fantasy wuxia version of ancient China populated by anthropomorphic animals, the franchise follows Po Ping, a clumsy, food-loving giant panda who is improbably chosen as the prophesied Dragon Warrior and must grow into a true master of kung fu to protect China from evil forces, despite early doubts from himself and his teachers. Its success led to two theatrical sequels, television specials, series and shorts, video games and extensive merchandise.
