Sue Gardner, born 11 May 1967, is a Canadian journalist, not-for-profit executive and business executive. Before leading the Wikimedia Foundation she was director of the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation's website and online news outlets, and from December 2007 until May 2014 she served as the Foundation's executive director. Forbes ranked her the 70th most powerful woman in the world in 2012. She joined the board of Global Voices in 2013, was announced in 2015 as helping the Tor Project develop its long-term organizational strategy, served as executive director of The Markup from 2018 to May 2019, and in November 2023 was appointed chair of the Canadian Anti-Hate Network.
