Darren Tulett

Journalists and Broadcasters

Darren Tulett, born on 2 June 1965 in Shoreham-by-Sea in Sussex, is an English journalist who became a sports anchorman presenting mainly football on French television. After teaching English in Paris for several years he returned to England and worked as a sports reporter for Bloomberg News, which sent him to cover the 1998 World Cup. He then stayed in France, joined Canal+ in 2002 as a contributor to L'Equipe du Dimanche and became a full-time Canal+ presenter in 2004, hosting the light-hearted show Fabulous Sport. Known in France as Darren d'Angleterre for a playful 1960s English dandy image, he was recruited by beIN Sports in 2012 for its launch and has covered the Champions League and Europa League there. He has also contributed occasionally to The Guardian.
