Danny Glover

Danny Glover is an American actor and producer born Daniel Leburn Glover in 1946 in San Francisco, California. He built a long career in film and television, becoming widely recognized for playing police sergeant Roger Murtaugh across the Lethal Weapon film series, while also appearing in a broad range of dramatic roles over several decades. Alongside his acting work, Glover has been active as a political and humanitarian activist, work that has been formally recognized by his profession. He received the Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and the NAACP's President's Award, and has been nominated for five Emmy Awards and four Grammy Awards across his career in film, television and audio work.
