Bella Thorne, born Annabella Avery Thorne on October 8, 1997, in Pembroke Pines, Florida, is an American actress, singer, and writer. She gained early recognition through recurring roles in Dirty Sexy Money and My Own Worst Enemy, winning a Young Artist Award for the latter, before her breakthrough as CeCe Jones on the Disney Channel series Shake It Up from 2010 to 2013, which brought her multiple award nominations and wins including an Imagen Award. Her film and television work includes Blended, The DUFF, The Babysitter and its sequel, Famous in Love, and Midnight Sun, along with praised roles in Amityville: The Awakening and Infamous. As a recording artist her debut single Watch Me charted on the Billboard Hot 100, and she released the EPs Made in Japan and Jersey. She has also authored the young adult Autumn Falls novel series and a poetry collection, and made her directorial debut with the film Her and Him in 2019.
