The Living Desert is a 1953 American nature documentary film that follows the everyday lives of animals in the deserts of the southwestern United States. Directed by James Algar for Walt Disney Productions and narrated by Winston Hibler, it was an entry in Disney's True-Life Adventures series and won the Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature.
