Timelapse of the Entire Universe

Timelapse of the Entire Universe is a 2018 short animated documentary film by John D. Boswell, known as Melodysheep, compressing the history of the universe from the Big Bang to the present into just under eleven minutes, with every second representing about 22 million years, inspired by Carl Sagan's Cosmic Calendar concept. It depicts cosmic evolution, the formation of stars and planets, and the emergence of life on Earth, originally narrated in part by Morgan Freeman alongside Brian Cox, David Attenborough, and Carl Sagan; the film was pulled shortly after its March 7, 2018 release over rights issues with the Freeman narration and replaced with a revised version on March 10, 2018, and a remastered version followed in 2026. A sequel, Timelapse of the Future, followed in 2019.
