The Times of Harvey Milk is a 1984 documentary directed by Robert Epstein, chronicling the political career of Harvey Milk, one of the first openly gay elected officials in the United States as a San Francisco city supervisor, his 1978 assassination by former supervisor Dan White, and the public anger that followed White's comparatively lenient manslaughter conviction.
