Henri-Georges Clouzot was a French film director, screenwriter and producer, born in Niort, France, on 20 November 1907, who died on 12 January 1977. He is best remembered for his work in the thriller genre, having directed The Wages of Fear in 1953 and Les Diaboliques in 1955, which are critically recognized as among the greatest films of the 1950s. His directing career ran from 1931 to 1968. Within this atlas Henri-Georges Clouzot is credited as the director of The Wages of Fear and Diabolique (1955 film).
