Ray Yeung is a Hong Kong screenwriter and independent film director. After earning a law degree and practicing law for two years, he found the work tedious and turned to filmmaking. His films frequently center on gay stories, beginning with his feature debut Cut Sleeve Boys in Britain in 2006 before he shifted his focus back to Hong Kong, directing Suk Suk in 2020 and All Shall Be Well in 2024. Yeung is also chairman of the Hong Kong Lesbian and Gay Film Festival, the longest running LGBT film festival in Asia, which he revived in 2000.
