Head-On (German: Gegen die Wand) is a 2004 film directed by Fatih Akin, a Germany-Turkey co-production shot in German, Turkish and English, starring Birol Unel and Sibel Kekilli. It follows a Turkish-German widower struggling with drugs and alcohol who enters a marriage of convenience with a young Turkish-German woman seeking to escape her strict family, an arrangement that develops into a genuine and destructive love.
