Lebanon

Lebanon is a 2009 war drama written and directed by Samuel Maoz, a co-production of Israel, the United Kingdom, France and Germany. The film depicts the 1982 Lebanon War entirely from inside a Sho't battle tank, following four Israeli soldiers whose only view of the outside world is through the tank's gunsight as they face combat, moral dilemmas and the psychological strain of their confined quarters. It became the first Israeli produced film to win the Golden Lion, at the 66th Venice International Film Festival.
