Titane

Titane is a 2021 French-Belgian body-horror psychological drama written and directed by Julia Ducournau. It follows Alexia, who receives a titanium plate in her skull after a childhood car accident and grows into an adult serial killer and car-show model with an erotic fascination for automobiles; after committing a string of murders she assumes the identity of a missing young man to evade police and forms an unexpected relationship with his father, a fire captain, in a story that escalates into her own pregnancy and death.
