Spring is a 2019 animated fantasy short film directed by Andreas Goralczyk, the twelfth open movie project of the Blender Foundation, made entirely with the open source Blender software and released under Creative Commons licensing. Told with no spoken dialogue, it follows a young shepherdess named Spring who descends into a frozen forest to confront ancient spirits, communicating with them through music from a magical staff, and who restores the frozen landscape by herding the creatures back into the clouds. The eight minute film was released on YouTube on April 4, 2019, had passed ten million views by November 2024, and won Best Short Film at the Mundos Digitales International Animation Festival in July 2019.
