Justice Is Done

Justice Is Done is a 1950 French drama film directed by Andre Cayatte, a former lawyer who turned to filmmaking to examine law, justice and morality in postwar France. It depicts the trial of a woman accused of killing her terminally ill employer at his own request, showing how each juror personal history colors the facts as presented. The film won the Golden Bear in the thriller and adventure category at the first Berlin International Film Festival in 1951.
